  • The CellBox-Lite connects to the PBX as an analog extension. You can use it for incoming calls as a remote mobile phone extension and as an outgoing Cellular Gateway.

  • Mobile Phone Extension

  • There are two ways for users outside the office to connect through CellBox-Lite to the PBX (using CLIP/SMS authentication) and receive an internal dial tone from the PBX:

  • Direct dial to the CellBox-Lite. If the unit recognizes the calling ID, it either provides a dial tone or calls back to the user's predefined number, depending on the user's setting.

  • Send the CellBox-Lite a specially coded SMS. If the unit recognizes the coded message, it calls back to the sender's predefined number, depending on the sender's setting.

  • Once connected, the user can make calls through the office telephone system as though calling from an internal extension.

  • Extension Cellular Gateway

  • Dial the internal extension number of the CellBox-Lite to receive a dial tone. You can now use it to make mobile-to-mobile calls, eliminating landline carrier interconnection fees. You can define up to 20 prefixes in a Black (Restriction) or White (Allowed) list.
