The TPU-15A is a 15-watt, wall-mounting amplifier specifically designed for telephone paging applications. It incorporates state-of-the-art electronics to provide voice-activated muting of music when paging, completely eliminating the need for manual activation switches or external relays. In addition, the unit has a night-ringer feature that can be used to alert personnel of an incoming call during non-business hours.

The paging channel features automatic level control to maintain a constant output even when where persons with varying voice levels and paging techniques have access to the system.

Inputs are provided for a 600 W balanced telephone line, a background music source and dry contacts which, when closed, trigger the night ringer. Screwdriver-adjustable controls are provided for page, night ringer and music volume. A tone control, LED overload indicator, Lo-cut filter and push-to-reset circuit breaker are also provided.
